What is Esthetics?
The profession of Esthetics or Beauty Therapy, as it is called in Europe and other countries, is based on the art of enhancing the visual appearance of the face and body. The school is located in Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada, and the instructors of the Lam School are all industry professionals with almost 20 years experience. They work part-time in the school to upkeep their working experience so that they can teach more effectively. The owner Sherry Galloway (Senior Educational Director received her Cidesco Post Graduate Diploma from Lam School during the previous ownership by Mr. Hubert Lam and his wife Patricia in Scarborough Ontario. After considering other potential buyers, the Lams chose to sell the school with its high reputation, (to concentrate on their clinic and distributorship of Mr. Lam’s innovative clinical esthetics equipment ( inventions.) To the right buyer, one which would uphold an equal level of high quality standards that they themselves had delivered for thirty years I (Sherry Galloway) am honoured to deliver that objective, which is to produce a highly skilled therapist with marketable diverse abilities.
